We have collaborated with NOVA High School staff and students to convert an existing classroom and adjacent support spaces into a health care center. It is critical that the space be welcoming to all and feel more like a living room than an institutional space. It will accommodate a private exam room, a private office dedicated to behavioral health, a small reception area, and a lab space. The designated temporary space is in the historic part of the Horace Mann Building and therefore, the temporary upgrades will not involve any remodeling, permits, electrical or plumbing work.
