Seattle Department of Transportation Bicycle Shelters
Designing storage nodes for a more efficient urban lifestyle

Schemata completed schematic designs for bicycle shelters at transit stations for the Seattle Department of Transportation. Scope included three Sound Transit stations for the International District and the future Capitol Hill and Husky Stadium stations. Working again with Alta Planning and Design, our partner for the University of Washington Bicycle Shelters, the project leverages Schemata’s experience not only in transit station planning and design, but also our extensive knowledge of the Transit Oriented Development planning around the Capitol Hill light rail station as well as knowledge gained while working on the University of Washington campus wide shelters.
