University of Washington Burke Gilman Trail Bike Shelters
an accessible space for urban cyclists

Schemata joined the PLACE Studio team at 70% Construction Documents to help support the secure bicycle shelter construction for the grant-funded project. Schemata used previous shelter design experience and the help of UW Transportation Services to provide designs for structures that were well integrated into the existing space, earning a favorable review from the University of Washington’s Architectural Review Committee.
