Another weekend of skiing, shoveling, and games at Mount Baker. The snow was deep and fresh, just like last year.
Saturday morning greeted us with about 18 inches of the new, leaving the Mountaineers parking lot burried.
After a day of skiing and snowshoeing, we settled in for an evening of gaming.
The Mountaineer's Lodge provides a great and convenient place for over night lodging. Close to the slopes and inexpensive.
Sunday morning was the big dig-out. Those of us who had our fill of the slopes on Saturday, filled our morning (and got our fill) of shoveling out the vehicles from about 24 inches of fresh . . . .
. . . . . with the task proving to be quite invigorating to some us . . . . .
. . . . . and of great necessity to all of us.
After the great dig-out, many of us retired to Boundary Bay Brewery in Bellingham, for some well earned libations.
